How do I know if my order went through?
You will know your order went through when you receive an automatic email confirmation. If you do not receive an order confirmation, please contact us at DancingRahana@aol.com - We are happy to assist you.
We accept credit card or PayPal. If an item is out of stock, we will contact you to determine if you would like to keep the order, otherwise we will issue a full refund. If you have any questions on an order, or prior to placing your order, please call, text, or email. DancingRahana@aol.com
Having problems placing an order online?

Options to place your order:
Credit card or PayPal. Place online orders by adding items to shopping cart then proceed to checkout using our secure server. Online orders will receive an Invoice Order/ID # number. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please email us at DancingRahana@aol.com
Exchange or Store Credit is offered and does not expire.
Customer must notify us within 3-5 days of receipt for an exchange. Returns will only be accepted with a Return Authorization number. To obtain a RA#, contact DancingRahana@aol.com . Once you have emailed us, we will respond with further instructions. Returns without a RA# will not be accepted, and must meet the return specifications. Items being returned must be in original and sellable condition in its original packaging. Costumes must have sales identification tags still attached.
Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.. Insurance and signature request are strongly recommended, since the Customer is responsible for the package until it reaches us.
Returns/Exchanges require 5-10% re-stocking fee (some exceptions apply).
Orders ship from either Valle Vista, CA or San Diego, CA via the US Postal Service or FedEx. We use the US postal service for most orders. When an order is shipped by FedEx or USPS, depending on the value of the shipment, it may require a signature. If you require your shipment by a certain date, please let us know. We will do our best to accommodate your request. You should typically receive your order within 1-3 weeks unless it is a custom made costume from Egypt. Email: DancingRahana@aol.com
If a shipping rate is missing or seems very low, its possible that the system is experiencing a glitch in calculating the shipping fee in which event you will be notified to clarify the correct amount. We try and avoid such a thing however, it has happened on occasion.
We can ship to AP / APO addresses no problem. Our online ordering does not currently have the proper drop-downs for this but you can put the correct AP / APO address in the comments during your order.
International Orders are shipped via US Postal Service. We ship to most countries. If your country is not listed, please email us DancingRahana@aol.com . Duties are the responsibility of the Customer.
Orders containing custom or special order items do not ship per the normal schedule. See "Custom Orders" below...
IMPORTANT: Shipping/handling rates are calculated automatically using our shopping cart system. If there is an error in shipping, we will notify you at once to clarify.
You can receive a shipping quote automatically by selecting the items you want to order by placing them in your "shopping cart" and then selecting the "shipping quote" button.
You are under no obligation to purchase these items when you use this feature.
Custom Size Costumes are handmade in Egypt and can take 7-12 weeks. Orders of 3+ costumes arrive fastest . Rush service option is available for as little as 5-6 weeks. Please email DancingRahana@aol.com for more information. Custom order costumes are based on the measurements you provide to fit within your size range. Additional inches will be added automatically to bra straps and belts to insure room for alterations. Costumes are hand-made and may vary in design. Although you may see the design as over-the-shoulder, your order may arrive around-the-neck. You may find it necessary to adjust hook placement and strap placement to obtain the perfect fit. If you have a picture of a costume you like, chances are we can make it.

Belt measurements are to be measured where you will wear the belt (typically the upper hip).
10% Troupe/Multiple Costume Discount for Belly Dance Costume orders. Minimum purchase requires at least (3) costumes be purchased in order to qualify for this discount. You must email us prior to placing your order. You will be given a special code to order online.
Gift Certificates can be purchased online under Gift Certificates
We respect your privacy. In accordance with CA law, we will not share information we collect with companies outside of Dancing Rahana's Boutique. Emails from Dancing Rahana's Boutique include order confirmation and product update.
Our store is online only. The physical store "The Velvet Gypsy Bellydance" in Venice Beach, California has closed. Please email us if there is an item we can send you a picture of from the store. We are working to get all items from the store online.
