Rahana's Dance

Rahana illuminates warmth and grace in the style of her dance. 
She is a professionally trained Belly Dancer who believes "the expression of passion is just as important as the movement of dance".
Rahana performs at many events throughout the year, entertaining audiences of all ages. She enjoys performing on stage as well as Birthday Celebrations, Anniversaries, Weddings, Baby Showers and Corporate events.

In 2001 Belly Dance became Rahana's life-long passion. Since joining the world of belly dance, Rahana has dedicated herself by embracing the opportunities to study with some of the most well-known and respected instructors in this beautiful & mystical art form. Rahana's first influence and instructor was the highly talented Ansuya of Miami.  After building a foundation in American Cabaret, Rahana joined Ansuya's troupe, Yaleil, under the direction of Akasha.

Rahana has been dancing most of her life as an entertainer, having been a member of a group that entertained at over 500 events as a Musical Theatre Performer. Through the past few years, Rahana enjoys taking workshops & classes both locally and abroad with worldwide instructors such as Mahmoud Reda, Leila Haddad, Magdy el Leisy, Dina of Egypt, Dandash of Egypt, Djamila of Germany and Jillina!  Most recently, Rahana began her Raqs Sharqi studies under the direction of Tamra-Henna.

Rahana has the opportunity to create a sequenced performance that compasses a full range of dance experience.  As the lead choreographer, she is able to utilize her many years of dance training in Ballet, Musical Theatre, Hawaiian in addition to Raqs Sharqi and the American Cabaret style of Belly Dance.
